The Bubbles over Jordan Pond

October 1, 2014, 11:02 AM

I took this panorama of The Bubbles over Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park, Maine, with Vincent Lawrence of, Scott Stulberg of, Scott Crist of, and Holly Kehrt of It is stitched from 27 photos (3 rows of 9 columns) with PTGui and blended with Photoshop. I shot it at 200mm, f/5.6, ISO 100, and 10 second shutter speeds with a B+W 10-stop ND filter because it was very windy with a lot of waves. I like stitching panoramas with a shallow depth of field to give them more of a 3D appearance. The stitched image is 19366 x 8326.
