The Bubbles over Jordan Pond

October 1, 2014, 11:02 AM

I took this panorama of The Bubbles over Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park, Maine, with Vincent Lawrence of http://www.acadiaimages.com, Scott Stulberg of http://www.asa100.com, Scott Crist of http://www.jscottcristphotography.com, and Holly Kehrt of http://www.hollykehrt.com. It is stitched from 27 photos (3 rows of 9 columns) with PTGui and blended with Photoshop. I shot it at 200mm, f/5.6, ISO 100, and 10 second shutter speeds with a B+W 10-stop ND filter because it was very windy with a lot of waves. I like stitching panoramas with a shallow depth of field to give them more of a 3D appearance. The stitched image is 19366 x 8326.
