Autumn Leaves on Boardwalk

I took this panorama of the boardwalk in the Wild Gardens of Acadia in Acadia National Park, Maine with Vincent Lawrence of www.acadiaimages.com, Scott Stulberg of www.asa100.com, J. Scott Crist of www.jscottcristphotography.com, Holly Kehrt of www.hollykehrt.com, and Doug Jackson. It is a 35 image panorama of 7 columns and 5 rows (single exposure, no bracketing or HDR). I shot it at 200mm f/4 for a very thin depth of field, sometimes called a “bokehrama”. It is about the perspective of a 50mm f/1.0 lens (or 80mm on medium format), but its 200 megapixels (15831 x 12853). Edited with Lightroom, stitched/blended with PTGui Pro, and cropped slightly to 4x5 ratio.
Equipment used: Nikon D700, Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 VR II, Hoya Pro1D circular polarizer, and Really Right Stuff TVC-34L tripod w/ leveling base & multi-row panning head. Shot at 200mm, f/4, ISO 800, and 1/60 shutter speed.
