Winter Scarf

I took this photo when the kids were playing in the back yard in the small amount of snow we had gotten overnight. The rain melted it all a few hours later. One of them had put a scarf on the swing set and it was blowing in the wind. I decided to make the photo black and white and purposely added a bit of grain as it reminded me of Kodak Royal Gold 1000 film that I used to shoot on dreary, overcast winter days many years ago. I left the color in the scarf to give it a feeling of warmth in its cold world.
